Jacob joined the team at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in June 2021, from his previous professional role at Leek Golf Club. Jacob has 8 years experience of working in the golfing industry working in various roles. At amateur level Jacob represented both Derbyshire and England as well as competing in elite amateur events on National and International scales.
Deciding to turn Professional in 2015 after successfully gaining a Europro Card, Jacob competed full time for 3 years playing on a range of tours. Post playing full time Jacob has since under taken his PGA qualifications. During his studies Jacob has expanded his knowledge in all aspects, especially coaching. Having successfully developed Junior Coaching Programmes along with growing the game in local schools.
Now in his 6th year as a Professional Jacob’s passion for golf is growing continually. Still showing enthusiasm to compete at Professional level on an individual and Pro-Am basis. Throughout his time coaching, Jacob has worked with all abilities from beginners to elite golfers. Jacob’s teaching style is adapted to each individual to ensure players get the most out of each session, utilising valuable knowledge gained from elite coaches through his time being coached.
